MHS 6th Form Athletics Inclusion Track and Field Competition

A mix of school leavers from Melland 6^th form were given the fantastic opportunity to access the annual Inclusion Track and Field competition this week. They had all chosen a variety of events to take part in against some other schools in the city. The exceptional organisation from Manchester PE association ensured that all the athletes, staff and leaders followed strict covid guidelines so everyone felt safe, secure and well managed. On top of all that it was just fabulous to be off site using incredible facilities doing something really fun and exciting. It felt amazing for the students to be challenged and succeeding in something they are all so passionate about before their school life draws to an end after a tricky year. Well done to all of them for striving to be their best and showing exemplary behaviour and manners.
